LUNA VINEYARDS SELECTED AS HOST WINERY SPONSOR FOR 2009 BOB HOPE CLASSIC

 

Monday, December 1, 2008- NAPA, Calif. - The Bob Hope Classic is pleased to announce that Luna Vineyards, a benchmark wine producer in Napa Valley, has been selected as the exclusive winery sponsor for the 2009 tournament. Renowned golf professional and wine aficionado Arnold Palmer will be the Host of the historic golf event, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary and is scheduled to take place in La Quinta, California the week of January 19-25, 2009.

 

Luna Vineyards co-founder and owner Mike Moone is a resident of La Quinta, and has enjoyed a 30-year friendship with golf and Coachella Valley icon Arnold Palmer. "It is a thrill to be the Winery Host for this year's Bob Hope Classic Golf Tournament," said Mike Moone. "What a perfect way to celebrate 50 years of wonderful golf together with a great friendship.
